Business Development Manager - Construction

Pittsburgh, PA - Full Time

Job Summary:

As the Business Development Manager for Massaro, you'll be at the forefront of our growth strategy. The BD Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building/maintaining strong industry relationships and driving revenue growth. The BD Manager will work closely with our estimating, project management, and executive teams to win new work and strengthen our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets
  • Build and maintain relationships with developers, architects, owners and other key industry stakeholders
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet company growth objectives
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations
  • Attend industry events, conferences and networking functions
  • Track pipeline activity and forecast sales metrics

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of the construction process and industry landscape
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to building relationships and solving problems
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management or related field
