Restoration Technician - Disaster Services
POSITION SUMMARY: The Restoration Technician is responsible for performing the day-to-day functions and the production of work at Massaro Restoration job sites. This includes but is not limited to installation, troubleshooting, remediation and repair according to job-site requirements and safety.
GERNERAL DUTIES:
- Maintains warehouse inventory in conjunction with Senior Project Manager.
- Stocks and maintains warehouse and vehicles.
- Performs skills needed on jobsites. Includes use of equipment and tools and strenuous physical labor under potentially adverse conditions.
- Maintains and updates all paperwork and required information in system software.
- Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in restoration projects.
- Maintains a safe and clean jobsite.
- Loads and unloads truck/trailer and hauls and hoists material.
- Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed and brings issues to the attention of PM or Director.
- Possesses the ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions necessary for communication and job completion.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or GED; Valid Drivers License
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS: Certification in Water, Smoke, Mold Remediation preferred.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
OTHER SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS: Must possess the ability to multi-task, pay close attention to detail and work in a fast, high-paced environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position requires heavy lifting in excess of 25 lbs; Rotating on-call weekends; Able to respond to disaster situations no matter the time.
TRAVEL DEMANDS: Travel is required within a 100 mile radius of the office. Minimal overnight travel is required.
